Job Summary

The Crown Prosecution Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to lead the Victim Transformation Programme. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of programme management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee programme governance and assurance, monitoring progress, managing risks, and establishing business readiness for change.
  • Manage programme finances, coordinating business case production and managing cost controls and resources.
  • Identify and manage senior stakeholder relationships both internal and external, demonstrating strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ensure realisation of benefits for the business, victims, and partners, maintaining a broad outlook on Government activity and criminal justice system operational issues and overseeing the management of the programme evaluation.
Requirements
  • Experience of successful management and delivery of complex projects and programmes.
  • Experience of leading teams and managing stakeholders across an organisation.
  • Experience delivering programme management functions including RAID, planning, and cost controls.
  • Experience with project management tools and software, Microsoft Project or similar.
