Job Summary

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Victim Transformation Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a priority programme aimed at improving the experience of victims through the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and expert programme management guidance to ensure the effective delivery of the Victim Transformation Programme.
  • Lead a team of project managers and oversee the work of corporate functions to support the programme.
  • Develop and implement programme governance and assurance processes to monitor progress, manage risks, and establish business readiness for change.
  • Oversee programme finances, coordinating business case production and managing cost controls and resources.
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, demonstrating strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ensure the realisation of benefits for the business, victims, and partners, maintaining a broad outlook on Government activity and criminal justice system operational issues.
Person Specification
  • Experience of successful management and delivery of complex projects and programmes.
  • Experience of leading teams and managing stakeholders across an organisation.
  • Experience delivering programme management functions, including RAID, planning, and cost controls.
  • Experience with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project.
