The Crown Prosecution Service is seeking a highly skilled Victim Transformation Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a priority programme aimed at improving the experience of victims throughout the criminal justice system.
This is a key role that requires a strong programme management background, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee programme governance and assurance, monitoring progress, managing risks, and establishing business readiness for change.
- Oversee programme finances, coordinating business case production and managing cost controls and resources.
- Identify and manage senior stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, demonstrating strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ensure the realisation of benefits for the business, victims, and partners, maintaining a broad outlook on Government activity and criminal justice system operational issues, and overseeing the management of the programme evaluation.
- Experience of successful management and delivery of complex projects and programmes.
- Experience of leading teams and managing stakeholders across an organisation.
- Experience delivering programme management functions, including RAID, planning, and cost controls.
- Experience with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or similar.
The Crown Prosecution Service offers a competitive salary of £71,420, plus a contribution of £20,690 towards membership of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
