Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to lead our catering operations team at a flagship defence site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our restaurants, grab and go, and delivered catering services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of a restaurant (200 rising to 1000 per day), grab and go, and delivered catering services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and team members.
- Nurture talent within the team and support growth and mentoring to ensure improvements are implemented to maximise performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the contractor's brand and image, ensuring consistency across all operations.
- Provide a commercial approach to the contract, meeting targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage labour costs above budget to client through policies in place.
- Challenge and continually review labour structures and ratios to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
- Results-driven with a proven track record in strong leadership and change management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create a high-performing team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong business acumen, with a commercial approach to contract management.
