The University of Reading is seeking a highly skilled Property Director to lead the strategic and operational management of its diverse property portfolio.
The University of Reading is a global institution with a world-class reputation for teaching, research, and enterprise. Its estate portfolio is a key component of its success, with three beautiful campuses in Reading and Henley that serve over 19,000 students and nearly 4,000 staff.
The Property Director will be responsible for strategic and operational asset management across the University's property portfolio, leading a team that undertakes a broad range of activities including land and property transactions, lettings, acquisitions, disposals, and asset and property management.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior and strategic role as the lead property professional across a diverse estate portfolio. They will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills, with an entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and dynamic mindset.
