This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring educators to gain valuable experience working with students aged 11-16 who require support with their Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities- Deliver tailored, in-class support to students with SEND needs.
- Act as a key worker to two students, overseeing their academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff to modify lesson content to suit individual student needs.
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging for all students.
- A graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree classification and excellent GCSE and A-Level grades.
- An aspiring teacher or education professional eager to gain hands-on experience before starting a PGCE.
- A future counsellor or psychologist with an interest in SEND and mental health support.
- Empathetic, resilient, and committed to making a difference in young people's lives.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
