A secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a highly skilled School Counsellor to join their transformative team. As a Positive Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs.

About the Job

You will work closely with teachers, specialist staff, and students to develop and implement effective behaviour support strategies. Your expertise will enable students to communicate effectively, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver behaviour support plans tailored to individual students' needs
  2. Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate behaviour support into classroom settings
  3. Provide one-to-one mentoring sessions to enhance students' independence and confidence
  4. Support student inclusion across all aspects of school life, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being
Job Requirements
  • Highly motivated and empathetic individual with strong communication skills

  • Commitment to providing inclusive education and supporting students with special needs
Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per year
