About the Role:

As a Special Education Needs Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs. You will work closely with teaching staff, parents and carers to develop individualised behaviour support plans, tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.

You will be responsible for providing behaviour support to students, promoting positive relationships and outcomes. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires prior experience working with students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

About the School:

Our school provides specialist education to children of both primary and secondary ages with a primary diagnosis of ASD and/or SEMH. We pride ourselves on being a supportive and inclusive community, dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide individualised behaviour support to students, working closely with teaching staff and other professionals
  • To develop and implement behaviour plans, tailored to meet the specific needs of each student
  • To promote positive relationships between students, staff and parents

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties
  • Ability to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £95-100 per day (dependent on experience)
