Product Design and Development Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Junior Design Engineer to join our team at MDE Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our products from early prototypes to final production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the project team to deliver project deliverables through the new product design phases.
  • Develop products using model-making techniques and/or 3D printing, working alone or as part of a team.
  • Produce high-quality prototypes and communicate technical details through drawings, cross-sections, and mock-ups.
  • Present product test data to project stakeholders and ensure clear communication of technical details.
  • Academically trained in Product Design or Design Engineering, with practical experience of 3D printing and Solidworks CAD.
  • Build strong relationships with internal staff and sub-contractors, and have experience with Arduino programming or similar.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 + Bonus, Pension (5%), Life Insurance & Cycle to work scheme.
