About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Post Adoption Support Social Worker or Senior Practitioner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality family finding services for children with a plan for adoption in the London Borough of Redbridge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead responsible professional for family finding
  • Provide statutory post-adoption services, including assessments and applications to the Adoption Support Fund
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement best practices in family finding and post-adoption support
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Regional Adoption Agency to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in family finding and post-adoption support
  • Strong knowledge of adoption laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
