About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced social worker or senior practitioner to join our team as a Post Adoption Support Social Worker or Family Finding Specialist.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work and experience in family finding and adoption support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a high-quality family finding service for children with a plan for adoption in the London Borough of Redbridge.
- Provide statutory post-adoption support services, including assessments and applications to the Adoption Support Fund.
- Work closely with the team to develop and implement best practices in family finding and adoption support.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Regional Adoption Agency to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Strong background in social work and experience in family finding and adoption support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
