About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced social worker or senior practitioner to join our team as a Post Adoption Support Social Worker or Family Finding Specialist.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work and experience in family finding and adoption support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a high-quality family finding service for children with a plan for adoption in the London Borough of Redbridge.
  • Provide statutory post-adoption support services, including assessments and applications to the Adoption Support Fund.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement best practices in family finding and adoption support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Regional Adoption Agency to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong background in social work and experience in family finding and adoption support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
