About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced social worker to join our team as a Post Adoption Support Social Worker.

As a Post Adoption Support Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to adoptive families, helping them to navigate the adoption process and providing guidance and resources to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

You will work closely with our team to develop and deliver a range of services, including family finding, adoption support, and post-adoption support.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to adoptive families, including assessments, planning, and implementation of support plans
  • Working with birth families and adoptive families to facilitate positive relationships and outcomes
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with local authorities, other agencies, and community groups to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery
  • Contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to adoption support and post-adoption support
