About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in North England. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing prospective foster carers, completing assessment reports, and attending multi-agency meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess prospective foster carers and complete assessment reports
  • Attend relevant multi-agency meetings, such as CLA reviews and Placement Planning meetings
  • Provide monthly supervision and regular support to foster carers
  • Ensure timely recording and effective communication with all professionals involved in placements
  • Deliver training in both group and individual settings

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a professional Social Work qualification, SWE registration, and experience in Family Placement, Child Protection, or work with Looked After Children. You will also need a full current driving license and access to a car with business use insurance.
