Drama Teacher Required
Simply Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Drama Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to make a real difference in the lives of students and contribute to the growth and success of our arts program.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for drama education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. They will also be responsible for planning and delivering engaging drama lessons, mentoring student development, and collaborating with colleagues to share best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Deliver Lesson Plans: Create engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to students' diverse needs and abilities.
  • Mentor Student Progress: Provide constructive feedback on student performances and progress, supporting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the growth and success of the arts program.
  • Organize Extracurricular Activities: Lead extracurricular activities such as school productions or drama clubs, providing students with opportunities to extend their skills beyond the classroom.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field is preferred.
  • Teaching Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience teaching drama at the secondary school level.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, and a passion for the performing arts.
  • Additional Requirement: An Enhanced DBS on the update service is mandatory.

Salary Range: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum depending on experience.
