Theatre Arts Professional

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Performing Arts Specialist to join our team at Simply Education Ltd. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drama lessons and contributing to the growth and success of our arts program.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in drama education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. They will also be able to provide constructive feedback on student performances and progress, supporting their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Engaging Drama Lessons: Plan and deliver interactive and engaging drama lessons that cater to students' diverse needs and abilities.
- Mentor Student Development: Guide students in developing their skills, building confidence, and achieving academic success.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the growth and success of the arts program.
- Lead Extracurricular Activities: Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as school productions or drama clubs, providing students with opportunities to extend their skills beyond the classroom.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Teaching Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience teaching drama at the secondary school level.
- Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, and a passion for the performing arts.
- Additional Requirement: An Enhanced DBS on the update service is mandatory.
Estimated Salary: £40,000 per annum based on experience.
