We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced researcher to join our team as a Senior Research Associate in the University of Cambridge's Institute of Metabolic Science.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research strategies integrating advanced in vivo neuroscience tools with behavioural, metabolic, and neuroendocrine assessments as a Disease Model Core Technologist with a specialization in Neuroscience.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field, at least three years of postdoctoral experience in Neuroscience, and a strong track record of contributing to impactful research projects. They will also have an excellent academic record, peer-reviewed publications, and a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop external collaborations with other educational and research institutes to promote DMC services, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
