We are seeking a Research Data Manager to join the Genomics and Bioinformatics Core at the University of Cambridge. This role provides management oversight and training in data management activities, ensuring that data is handled, processed, and stored appropriately.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper handling and storage of sensitive human clinical and other participant identifiable data, providing technical direction to develop a long-term strategy for collecting, managing, storing, and transferring data.

They will also lead on training institute investigators on 'Data FAIRification', ensuring data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable, as part of the Wellcome funded 'Discovery Research Platform'.

The Genomics and Bioinformatics Core provides analytical and data management support to research groups within the Metabolic Research Laboratories (MRL) at the Clinical School, University of Cambridge.
