We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Bioinformatician to join our team at Genomics England Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our efforts in connecting bioinformatics, product development and clinical users together in collaboration. This is a 12-month fixed term contract role based on full-time work.

About the Role

This role involves analysing and understanding diverse data sets for testing software products for clinical users. You will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of requirement analysis and end user-oriented tests. Additionally, you will create high-quality documentation tailored to end users and prepare and provide training activities for clinical users and researchers.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in clinical research or health care in cancer or rare diseases.
  • Proven track record in analysing large-scale genomic data using cutting-edge bioinformatics tools and reference databases.
  • Strong background in human genetics and proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis, including data wrangling and visualization.
