The ONE Group Ltd is offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Bioinformatics Software Developer to join their team in South Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of industrial experience in bioinformatics, strong Python programming ability, and experience with Python testing frameworks.

As a Senior Bioinformatician, you will lead and organise projects, collaborating with project members and presenting updates to stakeholders and the wider business. You will also support the creation of web-based bioinformatics databases for analysis.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, the company offers hybrid working arrangements, fortnightly hackathons, and fantastic exposure to networking events and conferences.

To succeed in this role, you should have proficiency in analysing next-generation sequencing data, SQL Databases such as PostgreSQL, and additional programming experience in languages such as R, JavaScript, Go, or Rust. Cloud computing experience, particularly with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, would also be beneficial.
