About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled DC Pensions Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of clients and providing expert advice on retirement benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of a book of business and develop strategies to retain and grow client relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, attending meetings and providing expert advice to ensure their needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends in the industry, monitoring market developments and identifying revenue generation opportunities for existing clients.
  • Create business development plans and identify strategies to meet business targets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Financial Services Market Act 2000 and Aon's Compliance criteria.
  • Report risks to the Operations Director and/or Compliance Director to ensure appropriate risk management activities are implemented.
  • Manage revenue recognition and client billing, and provide information and updates for financial statements.
  • Develop written client communications and stay up-to-date with statutory obligations and relevant FCA guidelines and legislation.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
  • Ability to advise employers and those in senior company roles at a strategic level.
  • Experience in compliance with regulatory requirements and changes in legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
