About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visitor Experience Officer to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences that exceed our visitors' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative and inclusive visitor experiences that align with our brand values and mission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events and activities that meet our high standards.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of the Visitor Journey Framework, ensuring that all visitors have a welcoming and inclusive experience from arrival to departure.
  • Work closely with the Programming & Partnerships Manager to create seasonal programming that meets the needs of our diverse visitor base.
  • Supervise a team of up to 5 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality delivery of events and activities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in creating innovative and inclusive visitor experiences in a heritage, culture, arts, or conservation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience in supervising a team and providing guidance and support to staff members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
