About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Visitor Experience Officer to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences that exceed our visitors' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative visitor experiences that align with our brand values and mission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events and activities.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of the Visitor Journey Framework, ensuring a consistent and inclusive experience for all visitors.
  • Work closely with the Programming & Partnerships Manager to create seasonal programming that meets the needs of our diverse audience.
  • Supervise a team of up to 5 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in creating innovative and inclusive visitor experiences in the heritage, culture, arts, and conservation sectors.
  • Strong understanding of interpretation methods and the ability to measure and assess results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Experience in supervisory roles, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
