Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team as a Senior Support Worker in Adult Social Care. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with adults who require support, ideally within a Learning Disability setting.

The role involves supporting the management team in supervising the Support Worker team, ensuring new staff are properly inducted, and monitoring and recording medication. You will also be responsible for dealing with individuals' finances and petty cash while ensuring compliance with organization policies and procedures.

You will work closely with the individual you support, assisting them with daily living skills, personal care, and other activities. We value flexibility, patience, and non-judgmental attitudes in our team members.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to complete physical aspects of the role, including manual handling. Experience with computer software and document production would be an advantage.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience, plus 29 days' paid holiday increasing to 31 days with service. Additionally, you will have opportunities to enhance your career through training and professional development.
