Dover, Kent, United Kingdom Voyage Care Ltd Full time
About the Role:

As a Support Worker with Voyage Care Ltd, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the people we support. Our supported living service in Dover is a welcoming and friendly environment, and you will be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with minimal personal care, promoting as much independency as possible, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities.

You will be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. No two days will be the same, and you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs one day, and unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema the next.

We are interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. Our Support Workers must be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with autism, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.

Our Offer:

We reward your dedication with:
• Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour (Ts & Cs apply)
• Premium overtime rates at an additional £1 per hour (Ts & Cs apply)
• Wagestream
• Funded Blue Light Card
• 24/7/365 doctor line for our colleagues and their families
• Access to cash plans for our colleagues, which also covers their families
• Enhanced retirement leave
• Long service awards

We are on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. If you have the right experience and the right values, we can give you all the skills and development opportunities you need to build a great career. We encourage our staff to Grow Together through our excellent training programme, starting at induction and following you through your career, with opportunity for promotion and progression as well as job security in a sector leading organisation.
