Job Title: Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Central Property Team at our Walton Summit office. This is a full-time role working 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

The Central Property Team is an integral part of our property service offering, providing key administrative support to our Residential and Commercial Property teams. As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering successful outcomes, including:

  • Providing effective and efficient support to Advisors through administration, planning, and secretarial work.
  • Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry.
  • Dealing with Land Registry requisitions.
  • Checking title documents and taking appropriate action.
  • Submitting SDLT and LTT.
  • Dealing with companies' house registration.
  • Dealing with new charges and removals.
  • Dealing with lender and third-party portals.
  • Dealing with post-completion matters.
  • Putting indemnity insurance policies on risk.
  • Completing standard legal documents and ancillary documents.
  • Drafting and proof-reading correspondence.
  • Taking and updating client instructions.
  • Providing organization and logistical support to Advisors and the department.
  • Obtaining instructions and information from clients.
  • Coordinating and liaising with experts, solicitors, and other third parties.
  • Managing on-going communications with external stakeholders.
