About the Role
We are seeking a talented Robotics Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our robot picking system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in the productionization, engineering, and optimization of our robotic system to ensure it meets the quality requirements for a commercial product.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the productionization, engineering, and optimization of our robotic system to ensure it meets the quality requirements for a commercial product.
- Take an active role in the choice of technologies and techniques used in the delivery of robotic applications.
- Participate effectively in investigating and implementing sensor-driven robotics solutions to specific automation problems.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD and automated testing pipelines.
About You
- Excellent software engineering skills, with the ability to translate your own and the team's ideas into robust and reusable code ready to be deployed in production.
- Experience in working with robotic systems or proven experience within a similar industry.
- Excellent software engineering skills: ability to write reusable and clean code and to design software.
- Experience with common software development tools and practices (e.g. source control, code peer review, etc.).
- Experience performing integration of large or complex systems.
- Experience in machine learning techniques and developing machine learning solutions, applied to robotics or other domains.
- Demonstrable experience in developing software in C++ and Python.
- Familiar with containerization applications like Docker.
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD systems.
- Experience developing on Ubuntu Linux.
