About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Bot Kinetics Systems team. This team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting advanced automation systems for our fleet of autonomous robots. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of automated grocery fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design efforts on projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring robust solutions that meet all requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs within the overall system.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and calculations to substantiate design decisions, documenting your work meticulously.
  • Promote innovative design practices, utilizing prototyping and experimentation to optimize solutions for manufacturability and performance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for mechanical design within the team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in mechanical design, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with robotics or automation systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
