About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our robot picking system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in the productionization, engineering, and optimization of our robotic system to ensure it meets the quality requirements for a commercial product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software for robotic systems, ensuring high-quality and reusable code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and implement sensor-driven robotics solutions to specific automation problems.
  • Participate in the choice of technologies and techniques used in the delivery of robotic applications.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD and automated testing pipelines.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Excellent software engineering skills, with the ability to translate your own and the team's ideas into robust and reusable code.Experience in working with robotic systems or proven experience within a similar industry.Excellent software engineering skills: ability to write reusable and clean code and to design software.Experience with common software development tools and practices (e.g. source control, code peer review, etc.).Experience performing integration of large or complex systems.Experience in machine learning techniques and developing machine learning solutions, applied to robotics or other domains.Demonstrable experience in developing software in C++ and Python.Familiar with containerization applications like Docker.Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD systems.Experience developing on Ubuntu Linux.
