Key Responsibilities:

The successful Instrument Cluster Engineer will be working within the Research and Development team responsible for the Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays and Displays development. Main responsibilities include:

• Development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays and Displays to meet Design and Test standards
• Maintain part BOM across European vehicles
• Prepare functional specifications
• Review and approve part drawings submitted by suppliers
• Resolve technical issues with test departments and suppliers
• Conduct vehicle life cycle cost reduction idea generation and implement
• Lead vehicle life cycle warranty investigations

Background Required:

• Ideally Degree educated in a relevant subject matter
• Experienced in the development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays or Displays within the automotive industry
• Familiar with electrical theory related to parts and connected circuits
• An understanding in software development and validation method
• Experience of electrical architecture
• Knowledge of LIN or CAN tools
