Job Summary

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Leadership Team as the Head of Learning and Employee Engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our culture and drive positive colleague engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing the Learning Strategy
    • Design and implement a comprehensive learning strategy that addresses the needs of all employees and volunteers at all levels.
    • Identify and address learning and development gaps through the creation of induction, management, and leadership development programs.
  • Colleague Engagement
    • Develop and implement a colleague engagement strategy that fosters a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Identify and address communication needs through the creation of organizational, cultural, and leadership communication plans.
  • People Management
    • Recruit, select, and retain staff and volunteers with the right skills to deliver organizational strategy.
    • Perform all people management responsibilities, including absence management, performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Personal Development
    • Support the personal development of employees and volunteers through coaching, training, and development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in learning and development, employee engagement, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive positive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
