About the Role

MUFG - United Kingdom (BTMU) is seeking a highly skilled Talent Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our Talent Management team, you will play a critical role in supporting all Talent management projects and initiatives, with a focus on Talent acquisition efficiencies and end-to-end Talent activities.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Development and Career Progression

  • Coordinate and develop Talent development initiatives, focusing on internal mobility and career development as part of the talent lifecycle.
  • Manage communications and initiatives related to the employee experience of managing career progression, including project managing Own Your Career Week and facilitating Career Development sessions.
  • Deliver briefing sessions to HR and business stakeholders in preparation for talent and development planning processes.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to drive awareness of internal opportunities and increase internal fills on vacancies.
  • Write communications, proposals, and guides to support the ongoing enhancement of key Talent processes.
  • Build relationships with HR Business Partners across EMEA to provide the first point of contact for Talent queries.
  • Draft and issue regular Talent Management communications to HR Business Partners and the business around career development and Talent processes.
  • Contribute to Talent Management projects as required, supporting the Head of Talent Management accordingly.

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and maintain Talent Acquisition processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Identify potential risks in Talent Acquisition processes and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Optimize recruitment workflows and systems, improving data accuracy and reporting.
  • Project manage key activities and adherence to deadlines.
  • Draft communications for HR Business Partners and business leaders.
  • Update Recruitment policies and guidance materials, including process guides, candidate guides, interview guides, and KIZUNA pages.
  • Conduct regular audits of recruitment data to ensure data integrity and compliance with GDPR.
  • Coordinate supplier management processes and monitor vendor evaluations.
  • Participate in EMEA & Global projects related to Talent Acquisition process improvements.
  • Produce Talent Acquisition summary analysis and insights reports for management as required.

Projects and Talent BAU

  • Lead or support various Talent projects and/or global enhancements as required.
