**Job Overview:**
CAMHS Inpatients Ward Manager is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality care to adolescents with mental health needs.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Ward Manager on The Hope Unit - inpatient CAMHS. The post is for a permanent position, and we welcome applications from individuals with a background in mental health nursing.
The successful candidate will have experience at Band 6 and will possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with staff, service users, and their families. A key aspect of this role will be to provide clinical leadership and support to the inpatient nursing team, ensuring that service user needs are met and that clinical documentation is robust.
**Responsibilities:*
- Lead on the management and coordination of the ward, ensuring effective use of resources and maximizing service user outcomes.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the inpatient nursing team, promoting excellence in practice and contributing to the development of clinical policy.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective transitions between services.
**Requirements:*
- Experience at Band 6 in a mental health setting, preferably in an inpatient or community team.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge and experience of the Mental Health Act and related legislation.
**Salary:** £44,606 - £51,039 per annum, depending on experience. **Benefits:**
