About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Train Manager. As a Train Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trains, while providing an exceptional customer experience for our passengers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Deliver a world-class customer experience throughout the journey, providing information and assistance to passengers as needed.
  • Safety and Operations: Manage the safety and operational activities of the train, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Ticketing and Revenue: Check and sell tickets, maintaining accurate records and adhering to revenue management procedures.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with other team members, including drivers, revenue protection staff, and on-board services personnel, to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring passenger satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with colleagues and passengers.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to service delivery.
