Social Worker Specialist

We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our team at Northamptonshire Children's Trust.
About the RoleAs a social worker within our Duty and Assessment Team, you will be responsible for caseloads including children under Child Protection, Child in Need, and Looked After Children plans.
This is a crucial role that requires conducting visits to children and their families, completing assessments, and engaging in direct safeguarding work to protect the wellbeing and safety of young people.
You will also participate in strategy discussions, facilitate safety planning, conduct Section 17 Single Assessments, and Section 47 enquiries.
We provide the front line, single point of contact for the public and professionals who are making referrals with concerns for children who are at risk of significant harm or who are children in need.
