We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Membership Development Executive to join our team at The Institution of Mechanical Engineers. As a key member of our Membership Development Team, you will be responsible for creating and sustaining membership opportunities with the armed forces and academia across southern England.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with armed forces and academic contacts to promote and facilitate membership recruitment.
- Deliver presentations, one-to-one support, and workshops to promote membership opportunities, both virtually and face-to-face.
- Undertake telemarketing activities to support ongoing membership acquisition and retention.
- Support and attend conferences, exhibitions, and external events to promote membership opportunities.
- Support volunteer groups to develop memberships and provide administrative support as needed.
- Experience of managing your own workload and managing conflicting priorities.
- Strong presentation skills and excellent planning, reporting, and communication skills.
- IT literacy and a full, valid driving license.
- A competitive salary of circa £34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- 26 days' holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays.
