Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Cambridge, ENG - CB2 3HG

A leading Tier 1 organisation in the UK Construction sector is seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cambridge. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial activities across various projects from Education, Healthcare, Leisure, and Defence.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Exercising contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
  • Managing subcontract accounts from procurement to final account agreement
  • Negotiating final accounts to secure the best possible outcome

Requirements:
  • HNC/HND in Surveying or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as SQS/Commercial lead with a Regional/National contractor
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and legal obligations
  • Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Excellent mathematical and IT skills
  • Negotiation and networking abilities
  • Superb communication and teamwork skills

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
