Head of Derivatives and Collateral Management

This role will be responsible for overseeing the Middle Office derivatives activities, including derivative trade management, derivative lifecycle management, collateral management, OTC management, private credit servicing, and securities lending oversight. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the outsourced service area, covering operational service delivery knowledge and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the service delivery of the outsourced provider, ensuring it meets the agreed global service standards.
- Proactively evaluate service performance using daily and weekly service delivery KPI/KRIs and take appropriate action.
- Develop and refine quality processes that promote data integrity within the business.
- Engage with secondary service recipients to ensure service delivery is achieving standards for today and future business levels.
- Work in partnership with Head of Department, Senior Managers/Peers, and outsource provider to develop strategy and processes for managing middle office retained and outsourced activities.
- Demonstrated experience of the asset management industry/experience relevant to role.
- Extensive knowledge in the outsourced service area covering operational service delivery knowledge and client expectations.
- Industry awareness of the outsourced service area and regulations governing it.
- Experience in managing and overseeing 3rd party relationship service delivery.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to plan strategically and articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
