About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Derivatives and Collateral Services team in EMEA. As the Head of Derivative Operations and Collateral Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end derivatives lifecycle, including trade management, collateral management, and OTC management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Derivatives Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire derivatives lifecycle, from trade capture to settlement, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Collateral Management: Manage collateral requirements, including margining, collateral optimization, and collateral management.
  • OTC Management: Oversee OTC derivatives trading, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients, meeting their expectations and requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks and issues, ensuring the effective management of risks.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and refine processes to promote data integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior stakeholders, including clients, business partners, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in the asset management industry, with a strong understanding of derivatives and collateral management.
  • Operational Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of operational service delivery, including trade management, collateral management, and OTC management.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Strong understanding of regulations governing derivatives and collateral management.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, with a focus on delivering business benefits and driving growth.
