About the Role

Jupiter Asset Management Ltd is seeking a skilled Derivatives Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Derivatives Operations team, you will be responsible for the post-trade activities of derivative trading. This includes oversight of trade affirmation and confirmation, reconciliation of positions and cash, and management of margin and collateral processes. You will work closely with our Legal Team to ensure derivative relationships are properly documented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Settlement and confirmation of derivative instruments.
  • Assist with the effective control and oversight of trading activities across managed portfolios.
  • Manage trade lifecycles and positions within the Investment Book of Record.
  • Collateral and margin management.
  • Maintain relationships with service providers, including brokers, administrators, and custodians.
  • Provide effective responses to Fund Manager queries and offer relevant information to manage their funds.
  • Work with fund management and internal stakeholders to deliver new products and instruments.
  • Support the development and refinement of operational processes in line with business change and industry development.
  • Assist with Fund and Broker onboarding and set up derivatives agreements.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in Derivatives Operations.
  • Thorough understanding of various derivative instruments and operational support.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail essential.
  • Experience delivering change.
  • Ability to investigate issues and proactively solve problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with confidence at all levels of the business.
  • A flexible and team-oriented approach to work.
