Behavioural Support Assistant

TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to work in SEN and mainstream schools in New Milton. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, Behavioural and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behaviour management strategies to help students improve their behaviour and self-regulation.
Provide one-on-one and group support to students, both inside and outside the classroom.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other professionals to create and implement individual behaviour plans.
Attend training sessions and professional development to enhance your skills.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young people with SEN and managing challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students with SEN.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or willing to apply.
