Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - SEMH Secondary School

About the Role: Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a SEMH Secondary School in New Milton.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
* Develop and implement targeted work plans to support students
* Collaborate with teachers to provide a supportive learning environment
* Manage challenging behaviour and provide emotional support to students

Requirements:

* Experience of supporting children with SEMH needs
* Empathetic and kind approach
* Resilient and able to manage challenging behaviour

Our SEMH Secondary School in New Milton provides a supportive and inclusive environment for students aged 7-16 who find mainstream school difficult.
