Job Summary

The National Trust is seeking a Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our cafes and restaurants meet the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
  • Assist with the induction and training of new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cafe and restaurant areas, including the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and that the team is aware of their responsibilities in this area.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high standards of customer service and food quality.
