About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our cafes operate to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of hospitality staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that waste is minimized.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and that the cafe is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Ability to train and develop staff.
