At New Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Grappenhall Manor Care Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and supporting the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager in leading the care team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide person-centred clinical nursing care to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Manage and allocate duties to the care team, ensuring a high standard of care delivery.
- Be a role model and demonstrate person-centred care delivery, promoting a culture of excellence within the home.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times.
- Manage the delivery of residents' personalised care plans, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and assessment to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants, supporting their development and growth.
- Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care through written care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, as required by the company and regulatory bodies.
- Manage daily rotas and delegate workload, ensuring sufficient and safe use of manpower.
- Build relationships with external professionals, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Experience in elderly care is essential, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of older adults.
- Registered Nurse with a valid PIN, with a passion for delivering high-quality care.
- Evidence of knowledge relating to the care of older people, with the ability to coach and supervise Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
- Demonstrate a professional manner and appearance, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handle emergency situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
