About the Role

As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the tender process from start to finish, collaborating with sales and operations teams to create innovative and best-in-class tender documents. You will work closely with graphic design teams and fellow bid team members to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.

You will deliver completed, high-quality written proposal responses to reviewers against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required. You will also prepare proposal responses from various stakeholders, including contributions from sales, marketing, IT, culinary, finance, commercial, legal, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the tender process through all stages, collaborating with sales and operations teams to create innovative and best-in-class tender documents.
  • Work with sales and operations professionals, graphic design teams, and fellow bid team members to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Deliver completed, high-quality written proposal responses to reviewers against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required.
  • Prepare proposal responses from various stakeholders, including contributions from sales, marketing, IT, culinary, finance, commercial, legal, and operations teams.
  • Direct contribution of text to proposal documents and presentations, relating to our differentiators/competitive advantages, including creative writing where required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in either a contract catering or facilities management bid writer/manager role.
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Word packages.
  • Creative writing skills.
  • Comfortable working within a rapidly changing environment.
  • A high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work around deadlines and be highly organized.
  • Ability to build professional relationships and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and be calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of InDesign or a desire to learn the software.
