Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support a short-term project at our customer facility in Luton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with the customer and AS9102 requirements.

About the Role

  • Complete a thorough and accurate preparation of FAIRs.
  • Work with customer personnel to gain access to supporting documentation.
  • Identify potential solutions to ensure the FAIR preparation process can proceed.
  • Provide concise feedback to customer quality, engineering, and design teams.
  • Maintain an FAI tracker for review status, outcome, and any issues identified.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years aerospace experience in quality engineering or manufacturing engineering capacity.
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9102 and a sound understanding of AS9100.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office applications and custom databases.
  • Must be a UK National due to program security restrictions.
