Aldena Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to monitor product quality, investigate issues, and implement improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality engineering and assurance, with a strong understanding of electrical installation products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor product quality and report to the Management Team
  • Investigate product quality issues to establish the root cause and liaise with Product Engineers and the factory to implement improvements
  • Timely resolution of quality issues through robust and effective root cause analysis and implementation of permanent and preventative corrective actions
  • Provide Quality Engineering resource and support the development of FMEA s and quality control and test plans for new products (and existing products when requested)
  • Review customer complaints where necessary
  • Manage factory desktop or 3rd party audits, including ethical audits
  • Lead the management of Quality Assurance and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems

Requirements:

  • Experience in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Report writing skills, including 8D reports
  • Knowledge of electrical installation products and electrical product application is an advantage
  • Methodical, organised
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work unsupervised using own initiative

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience
