Are you a motivated Operating Theatre Practitioner looking for a new challenge? Job Summary:
  • Provide competent scrub provision, supporting surgeons through daily theatre lists and anticipating potential problems.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical compliance, and hygiene levels by cleaning down theatres.
  • Undertake medicine management and audit duties, as well as maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Manage clinical waste and implement correct disposal procedures.
Requirements:
  • RGN Nurse with an active NMC Pin or an ODP with HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience in hospital eye services or private eye clinics.
  • Knowledge of clinical practice and awareness of current developments in Optometry.
  • Training and coaching of others, commitment to continuous professional development, and proficiency in computer systems.

We offer an excellent salary up to £41,312 per annum, depending on experience. This permanent full-time role is for 37.5 hours a week, working day shifts from Monday to Friday.
