About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Ecology and Conservation to join our team at RPS Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the ecological team, managing and supporting the delivery of ecological services, and contributing to the growth and development of the team.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the ecological team in the delivery of ecological services, including ecological appraisals, ornithological surveys, and habitat surveys.
- Manage and support the delivery of projects, including the development of project plans, budgets, and timetables.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the team, including the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including the development of proposals, tenders, and pitches.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, including the application of new techniques and technologies.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Associate Director of Ecology and Conservation who has a strong track record of delivering ecological services. You will have a degree in a relevant subject, such as ecology, biology, or environmental science, and will be a member of a professional body such as the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
You will have extensive experience of leading teams, managing projects, and building relationships with clients. You will be a strong communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks and manage your workload effectively.
