A key aspect of this position is building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent quality, delivery, and cost-efficiency. The Technical Buyer will also conduct technical evaluations of products, equipment, and supplier capabilities to ensure alignment with company standards. Additionally, they will work with engineering and project teams to understand technical specifications and project requirements. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a procurement, sourcing, or buying role with a technical focus, preferably in manufacturing or engineering. They should possess strong technical skills, including an understanding of technical products and components, as well as proficiency in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are also essential, along with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
